United States – Press conference on State Department’s 2018 Human Rights Report

Michael Kozak, the head of the State Department’s Human Rights and Democracy Bureau, held a press conference at the Washington Foreign Press Center in Washington, DC, with a broad participation by several journalists and writers who are interested in a close follow-up on human rights. The conference included a briefing on the release of the 2018 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, which monitored human rights violations in over 200 countries and regions. During the conference, the US clarified its role in shaping its foreign policies according to the human rights annual report.
