USA – Opposition shows the danger of Tehran government’s use of electronic surveillance against demonstrators

The Iranian opposition held a press conference in Washington, DC, in the presence of a number of journalists and political analysts, to show the role played by the government of Tehran in controlling the Iranian Internet networks and monitoring the Iranian people to monitor any movements of demonstrators against them inside Iran. The spokesman for the Iranian opposition said that the United States should provide free and secure service to the Iranian people to complete their march in standing up to the regime by supporting the opposition and enabling it to use secure Internet rather than what the Tehran government provides.
