USA – “The Role of the United States in the Middle East” at a panel discussion in Washington

A seminar entitled “Role of the United States in the Middle East” was held at the Hudson Institute for Strategic Studies in Washington, DC, in light of the growing Iranian role and its impact on the region in general and especially on conflict areas such as Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen and its impact on peace in the world. The discussion occured with the presence of a number of political analysts and specialists in the Middle East and they discussed the next steps of US policy in dealing with the files of the Middle East and the possibility of restricting the Iranian regime through the imposition of sanctions that limit the role of Iran in the region.
