The 15th edition of the Carthage International Construction & Building Fair takes place from May 23 to 29, 2022 at El Kram Exhibition Centre, after a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Around 200 Tunisian and foreign exhibitors from Italy, France, Germany, Turkey, and Algeria operating in all branches of the sector’s activity are expected to be present at this fair.
Participants and visitors see the fair as an opportunity to learn about all new innovations in the construction sector after four years of disturbance due to Covid-19.

- Soundbite (Sarah Al-Zafarani – Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing):
“Around 200 exhibitors; manufacturers of building materials and from other fields related to the construction sector, participated in the fair. The exhibition is an opportunity to display new innovations in this sector, and to strengthen the external relations with the participating countries. The goal is to double our sales and share experiences; it is an extraordinary experience for Tunisia after 4 years.”
- Soundbite (Adel Saidi – Tunisian Architects Association):
“People have been waiting for this fair for 4 years. During the past 4 years, new innovations have emerged in this field and people here will discover that. The importance of the exhibition lies in presenting products that reduce carbon emissions to zero degrees, and all the materials here are economic and sustainable. Now, we rely on natural and recyclable products. These things have become important in the construction sector. The fair is important for the architects because it includes everything they need in their profession. Instead of looking for suppliers, they are found in one place.”
- Soundbite (Bitan Muhair – Branch Manager of the company representing the international brand ISOMAT):
“Covid-19 has affected this sector, but we started to return to work normally. This is our first participation in the fair and we found it very important. We will achieve great outcomes from it.”
