Libya: Landmines left by DAESH are causing a major setback in the battle to liberate Sirte.
Coastal Jiza, Sirte, Libya 14/11/2016
The battle for Sirte is not going as smooth as the Government of National Coalition had hoped for.
The campaign, led on the ground by the Bunyan Marsous Forces, and supported by the Global Coalition air force, had initially bolted off to a great start.
But the Forces have been confronted with a number of unforeseen obstacles that have caused the battle to come to a temporary halt.
One of the major setbacks has been the fields of landmines left behind by the terror group, DAESH.
