Turkey – Egyptian Lady introduces Koshari as a main course for vegetarians in Istanbul

In just two years, Marwa Abdul-Jawad has become the owner of the first Egyptian vegetarian restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey, which is one of the most famous places among vegetarians with its diet that attracts a large number of Arabs and foreigners. Abdul-Jawad states that achieving the success of being chosen by the British magazine “Vegan Life” as one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Turkey, was preceded by a brave decision by her and her Turkish husband, Hassan, to abandon habits and adapt the Egyptian cuisine to the vegetarian world. Marwa has emphasized her and her husband’s eagerness to maintain the distinctive taste of the food as well as the quality which makes the Egyptian vegetarian recipes attracts all people, not just vegetarians.
