Palestine – The first shipment of “Sputnik V” vaccine reaches Gaza
The first shipment of the anti-Covid vaccine has reached Gaza, following the approval of Israel. The Palestinian Authority confirmed that 1000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine had arrived through the Beit Hanoun “Erez” crossing, northern Gaza. Meanwhile, The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, stated that the Ministry has re-sent 2000 doses of the Russian Sputnik vaccine from the ministry’s warehouses in Ramallah, to its warehouses in Gaza, adding that these doses designated for medical staff in the intensive care units for Corona patients, and the emergency departments staff.
