Tunisia – Al-Fakhfakh raises popular optimism and fear after being appointed to form a government

Tunisians’ views diverged after Elias Al-Fakhfakh was appointed to form the new government between joy and fear, especially since the prime minister-designate had previously held several ministerial positions, most recently as finance minister. Opinions differed between the  first group, which sees the history of al-Fakaakh specifically regarding economy as encouraging, while the second group fears the prime minister’s inability to get the country out of its economic crisis, which had a impact on the livelihood sought by citizens.
