Bahrain: Fifth Conference of English Language Teaching.
The British Council held the fifth conference and exhibition for the teaching of English in Bahrain, Manam entitled by “Quality in teaching English language”, and the conference hosted main speakers and a number of exhibitors, with the participation of a number of specialists of English language in Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf to discuss topics related to teaching English and its advancement.
Under the theme “Quality in teaching English language,” the British Council held a conference for teaching English in Bahrain by hosting the main speakers Dr. Christine Comby the former president of TESOL, and Dr. Khalid Al Baker, director of the review of public schools in the National Commission for the qualifications of the management and ensure the quality of education and training in addition to other fourteen spokesman and six presenters, with the participation of many specialists in teaching English in Bahrain region and the Arab Gulf states.
This exhibition is considered this as the only conference of this magnitude, and specialized in topics related to teaching English and serving workers in this field by providing professional development opportunities for them through workshops and various lectures within the exhibition as well as the opportunity to communicate with colleagues and specialists in Bahrain and in the Gulf countries.
