Tunisia: A zoo for helping autistic children
Children with autism spectrum disorder in Mahdia, south of the Tunisian capital Tunis, are being treated through animals in a garden created by the Italian researcher Gabriela, to be a unique move in Tunisia.
In a unique idea of its kind that aims to treat autistic children, Gabriella, a researcher in the field of children autism, have established a Zoo in Mahdia, south of the capital Tunis.
The zoo is holding therapy sessions for children with a variety of styles represented in the transaction with various animals, these methods were able to achieve positive results, after acquiring the skills to recognize the surroundings and the community.
It is noteworthy that the zoo created by Gabriela is one of the sites that deal with children with autism through forming a relationship between children and animals.
