US Secretary of State John Kerry met with the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ministers in 1 Bahraini capital Manama, the meeting included a press conference with his Saudi counterpart, Adel Al-Jubeir to discuss regional issues.
US Secretary of State John Kerry met in the Bahraini capital, Manama with the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and they discussed several regional issues. The meeting included a press conference with his Saudi counterpart, Adel Al-Jubeir, he talked Kerry through about the upcoming summit which will bring together President Obama with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) , agreement was reached to begin the assessment phase, which will determine which of the Gulf cooperation Council countries to join NATO under the terms of special requirements, which will enhance security in the region.
For his part, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir said that the meeting included and discussed a number of issues as dealing with the challenges in countries (Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and Libya), along with the Palestinian cause, and how important it is to find a solution, as it the stressed joint efforts against terrorism and extremism .
