Tunisia – Rohingya supreme council: Arakan needs the intervention of international organizations

Members of the delegation of the Rohingya supreme council stated that thousands of people residing in Arakan at the west coast of Myanmar are suffering under catastrophic circumstances and are in desperate need of the intervention of international organizations to improve their living condition and human rights. They demanded during a seminar held in capital Tunis for the displaced people to have their citizenship rights back and safely return to their regions, as well as for those who murdered their families to be brought to justice. The Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar are classified as one of the most oppressed minorities in the world.
