Yemen – Human rights activists condemn Houthis for seizing a thousand houses in Sanaa

Human rights activists condemned Houthis for raiding citizens houses in Sanaa and forcibly seizing them. Houthis seized more than a thousand houses, as well as a number of facilities and businesses of citizens opposed to the Houthi ideology in the governorate. This act was considered by activists as a violation of human rights. Issam Alshaery, human rights activist and head of the Sah Organization for Human Rights stated that what Houthis did is considered a crime against humanity according to the human rights laws. He also stated that Houthis should stop violating human rights law and international laws that forbid assaulting civilians.
