Taiz City, south-west Yemen, is commemorating the 8th anniversary of the February 11 Revolution, which has become one of the Yemenis’ most significant national holidays, after the revolution’s first flame was torched in Taiz on the 11th of February. The participants affirmed that they are celebrating in homage to the memory of the martyrs of the revolution, which overthrew the regime of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
