Palestine – Analysts: Tension escalates between Fatah and Hamas as PA pulls staff from Rafah crossing

Political analysts believe that the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas’ decision to pull the PA staff from Rafah border crossing in the south of Gaza will escalate the tension between Fatah and Hamas, considering it an attempt to pressure Hamas into bowing to the Authority. They added that the two parties never intended to reach reconciliation from the start.
