Syria – Rehabilitation of Raqqa’s archaeological sites

The cultural and archeological committee of Raqqa’s Civil Council is keen to safeguard all the city’s significant archaeological landmarks, since they make up the city’s cultural and historical heritage. The committee is working on cleaning up the rubbish and rehabilitating archaeological spots, to name a few, the Old Mosque, Tuttul, the Temple of Dushares, and Raqqa’s old wall.
