Libya – Libya replaces Europe with Russia in the oil sector

Russia found in the Libyan political and economic situation a suitable environment to enter the oil sector and they signed a number of agreements to buy Libyan oil. According to experts and observers, Libyan-Russian cooperation in this sector has a positive impact on the economy, especially after the UN sanctions imposed on Libya in terms of quantities of oil sale to European countries.
