Libya – Destroyed historic buildings in Benghazi is a witness to the ferocity of the battles

Many archaeological sites and buildings in the city of Benghazi have been destroyed by the fierce battles that have taken place in the city between several parties, some of which are as flat as the ground, and the others are burnt or worn out. These archaeological sites have great moral value for the Libyans, and they were destroyed by ISIS members and armed groups that took Benghazi as a station. The city’s citizens hope to restore the archaeological sites and return them as before.
