Libya – Efforts to work on the railway project in Libya

Tripoli – Libya 3/3/2018

The railway project is one of the oldest projects in Libya, specialists in the railway system started to prepare preliminary studies of the project, in order to alleviate the traffic crisis in the country after the revolution in 2011 and crises of insecurity and the deterioration of the political and economic situation wiich prevented them from starting the railway project. At the present time, the railway system started  implementation procedures despite the geographical and demographic difficulties facing the city of Tripoli.
