Al-Shaddadi liberation from ISIS.
Syria democratic forces liberated Al-Shaddadi city located 60km south of Alhasakah after a fierce battle with ISIS ended in their escape and loss of their lives and equipments.
Syria democratic forces were able to take control over Al-Shaddadi where ISIS resided in South Alhasakah suburbs after an attack that lasted for a few days on the city that is 60km away of South Alhasakah that has oil and gas fields.
The Kurdish forces were able to cut two of the supply roads for ISIS where one of them connects Al-Shaddadi to Mosul in Iraq and to Alraqa.
Syria Democratic forces started their operations in Southern Alhasakah countryside since Tuesday the 16th of February 2016 via 3 aspects until they were able to take control over a big area.
