Tunisia – “Sidi Bouzaid” in a state of despair

The city “Sidi Bouzaid” has become famous in the world after the starting the Tunisian revolution which was followed by the events of the Arab Spring. It became a witness with the statue of Mohammed Bouazizi, who protested when he set fire to his body on 17 December 2010 at the gate of the headquarters of Sidi Bouzaid province, to protest against the deprivation of life and injustice he suffered from. But after 7 years, the city still lacks many services and essentials such as transport, modern infrastructure and education, in addition to the health sector, which deteriorated severely.
