The city of Zaghouan is the capital of the paper cakes, which is the most popular dessert of the Tunisians during the month of Ramadan. It is characterized by its delicious taste and health benefits. The paper cakes consist of almond dough mixed with the water of the Nile. The city has dozens of workshops for making these sweets in the same way as the old one.
