Thousands of workers from trade unions and employees of the public sector took part in mass demonstrations in Bakr Koi district, Istanbul after the Turkish government refused to demonstrate in Istanbul’s Taksim Square, calling on trade unions and public servants to celebrate Labor Day in other designated fields.
