Iraq – Iraqi forces cleanse the old city in central Mosul

Iraqi security forces continue to inspect and clean up the liberated areas of the Old City and the surrounding neighborhoods in Bab Al-Jadeed area and provide secure corridors for the displaced. The front-line forces continue its combat operations between the houses and alleys to liberate the rest of the Old City. Extensive destruction of buildings and infrastructure were caused by the clashes between the Iraqi forces and ISIS in the city.
