“I’m grateful to Al-Mutanabbi Street for bringing back nightlife and welcoming Iraqi families with open arms. This cafe is part of an initiative to open culture cafes along the cafe on rooftops of buildings surrounding the street. This is the first culture cafe opening. We hope this place is an outlet for intellectuals and artists to exchange ideas. It is also a gathering place for Iraqi families who wish to go out during Ramadan or in the summer. This Street and other areas are an attempt to revive Iraqi culture.”
