Palestine – Two sisters launch a project of traditional costumes and accessories
Hadeel and Najwa work together to embroider traditional costumes, one of the traditional symbols of Palestinian women, and make other handicrafts. They began working on a small project in their home, to manufacture several embroideries on antiques, gifts, medals, and shawls. The two sisters publish their work on social media to promote them and meet with demand from citizens, receiving orders from people. They also participated in several local exhibitions in Gaza, and the project became their main source of income to help improve their conditions. The two sisters expressed their wish to participate in an international exhibition outside Palestine.
