Tunisia – Popular support for the presidents’ decisions against “Moncef Marzouki”
The Tunisians supported President Kais Saied’s decision to withdraw the diplomatic passport from former President Moncef Marzouki. The citizens also saw that initiating a judicial investigation against him on charges of violating external state security is the most essential of “Saied’s ” decisions. Some citizens suggested making harsher decisions in light of “Marzouki’s” remarks in one of the interviews, in which he stressed that he was proud of being one of the reasons for postponing and canceling the Francophone Summit in Tunisia.
