Tunisia – The silver market continues to exhibit its pieces despite the drop in demand
Silver craft is one of the oldest traditional crafts in Tunisia, and women have worn silver jewelry from ancient times and since the Berbers era. Silver pieces have entered the customs of Tunisians, and certain pieces were required in preparing the brides, who utilize them, but today these pieces have become masterpieces that women purchase to beautify the house only, whereas the number of craftsmen who work silver manually has reduced.
