Tunisia: Outrage After Ennahda Movement Called for Financial Compensations
Ennahda Movement leaders’ calls for financial compensations worth 3 billion for its members, who were oppressed during the rule of Tunisia’s former President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali, stirred grassroots outrage, given the economic and health crisis that swept the country following the spread of Coronavirus. It is worth mentioning that the Head of Ennahda Shura Council, Abdelkarim Harouni, demanded the Prime Minister Hisham Al-Meshishi to expedite activating Al- Karama fund to recompensate tyranny victims before the 25th of this month
