Iraq – Agreement on the Export of Crude Oil to Jordan and the two countries are Signing the Electrical Connection Agreement

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Hala Zawati, concluded her visit to Baghdad, Thursday, after the Jordanian and Iraqi sides signed the electrical connection agreement between the two countries, which was focused on in the summit meeting last June.  Al-Zawati described her visit as special because of her meeting with Iraqi Oil Minister Amer Jabbar.  The talks resulted in the fact that Iraq must continue to supply crude oil to Jordan with a quantity of up to ten thousand barrels, this quantity may face an increase during the coming period, in addition to discussing the project of the conveyor line between Basra and Aqaba South.
