Turkey – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to inaugurate “Taksim” Mosque

Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has inaugurated, on Friday, the Taksim Mosque in Istanbul, it was set to open on the last Friday of last Ramadan. The Turkish company, “Vin yabi sesur yabi”, has completed the construction of the mosque, which is a promise made by the Turkish president in the 1990s, as he stood on one of the buildings in Taksim Square, in the heart of Istanbul, pointing with his hand at a specific area, saying, “I hope to build a mosque there.” The mosque appeared on the ground after 27 years.
