Mongolia -The lockdown affects citizens life conditions

The lockdown imposed on Ulaanbaatar since April 10 for a purpose of curbing the outbreak of Covid has affected the living conditions of citizens negatively, as recently, the purchasing power of citizens has decreased and the number of customers in shops and supermarkets have declined too, the current condition has become challenging for companies being closed for more than a month, although only food merchants are working on a strict schedule. Unemployed residents of the city who lost their jobs due to the lockdown complained about their inability to pay off their bank loans and secure the necessary supplies for their families.
