Palestine – A vigil in solidarity with the prisoner marking the Palestinian Prisoner’s Day

Palestinians have organized a vigil outside the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza in solidarity with the prisoner in Israeli prisons. The protestors, in the vigil organized by the “Prisoners Committee” of the “National and Islamic Forces”, raised banners calling for their release. This vigil marks the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, which falls on April 17 of each year, and was approved by the Palestinian National Council. However, the number of prisoners infected with the Covid in Israeli prisons until the end of last March reached 367, and according to the latest statistics, Israel arrests about 4,500 Palestinians include 41 women, 140 minors, and 440 administrative detainees (without trial).
