Tunisia – The traditional crafts are endangered due to Covid

The traditional crafts market in Tunis sees stagnation due to the lack of buying power for citizens resulted from the closures amid the pandemic. Shop keepers pointed out that the Covid outbreak led to the absence of tourists in Tunisian traditional industries. The traditional crafts merchants appealed to the Tunisian government to rescue the sector otherwise it will end, as most of them had to close their shops or change their business to make a living for their day.
