Palestine – Pastry King’s girls motivates women on their International day to confront unemployment

In the face of a new challenge to unemployment and the economic crises in Gaza, a group of graduate young ladies who manage a restaurant with successful full female staff that gained the satisfaction of a large number of customers, have opened a “Pastry King” restaurant in Deir El-Balah, southern Gaza, which serves fast food, pastries, and desserts. Doaa Al-Naouq, the owner of the women’s restaurant, has pointed out that it was a group idea to start the online restaurant project through social media platforms, then to leave the house and open a restaurant then the work developed to make different items of fast food and dessert. On International Women’s Day, on March 8th, the girls stressed that women should not let the circumstances stop them and they should be ambitious like men in all aspects of life.
