Palestine: The World Health Organization and Donors will Help Palestine in Obtaining Covid-19 Vaccine

Director-General of Palestinian Public Health, Dr. Yasser Bouzih confirmed that covid-19 vaccination will pave the way for realizing Herd immunity, which will limit the spread of the virus. The Director-General of preventive medicine at the Palestinian Health Ministry, Ali Abed Rabbo illustrated that the World Health organization’s COVAX initiative will guarantee fair and equitable access to vaccines for people in all countries regardless of the country’s financial resources. It is worth mentioning that the Minister of Health of the Palestinian National Authority pointed out that an imminent health disaster will take place, given the soaring number of coronavirus cases. The hospital bed occupancy rate has hit a percentage of 100%, as it can no longer admit any patients
