Syria- Electricity returns to the streets of Raqqa after years of ISIS destructions

The Project Management Unit in the Civil Council in Raqqa, northern Syria, is working on a new project to light the streets of the city as a service the council provided after darkness prevailed by the domination of ISIS over the city. The project brings safety and relief to the people after years spent in the dark. The supervisor of the project Abdulaziz Al-Sayer, states that the purpose of the project is to lighten many streets in three main neighborhoods. This came in response to the requests of the people during a conversation with them. The project works on installing light, re-maintain its transformers, and install new poles
