Iraq –Iraq International Book Fair kicks off with the participation of more than 300 publishing houses

Under the patronage of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the book fair was inaugurated in its 47 sessions, on the international fairground, “Baghdad International Fair”, in Bagdad, from December 9 to 19, 2020. More than  300 publishing houses from 21 countries have participated in taking strict precautionary measures due to Covid-19.  The representative of the Ghaida Publishing House, Jordan, Ghassan Hussein, pointed out that the Jordanian section in the fair includes a variety of books in all fields. The fair this year differs from the previous years and is divided into separate sections.
