Tunisia – In “Day of Rage”, Doctors demonstrate against public health policies

Today, Tuesday, Conseil National de l’Ordre des Médecins de Tunisie organized a march launched from the College of Medicine towards the Ministry of Health and the Government Square in the “Day of rage” that they had called for after a meeting in an extraordinary session to discuss the situation of the career following the catastrophe that befell the University Hospital in Jendouba led to the death of the young doctor, Badr Al-Din Al-Alawi. The doctors demanded to improve working conditions in the health sector and to denounce the government’s failure to respond to their demands of improving medical equipment in hospitals, which would allow doctors to work in appropriate conditions.
