Tunisia: Seminar to denounce human rights violations in Libya

Mohammed Brahman Centre for Peace and Solidarity organized jointly with the World Rally for a united Libya a press conference under the title “The Libyan jails … lawlessness and loss of life” to condemn the human rights violations.
Under the title “The Libyan jails … lawlessness and loss of life,” Mohammed Brahman Centre for Peace and Solidarity organized jointly with the World Rally for a united Libya a press conference to denounce human rights violations.
In this seminar, Ms. Fatma Mohammed, the President of the World Rally for a united and a democratic Libya stressed that the armed groups in Libya represent a significant threat to the safety of the detainees where Libya is in a state of instability under the ignorance of the international human rights organizations for the violations committed against women and men in a number of detention centers.
Several calls went out of the seminar for the international organizations to deal seriously with what is happening in Libya from torturing, arresting, harassment and murder, while the attendants attributed the spread of the phenomenon of detention in Libya to the deteriorating security situation and the doubled number of armed groups.
