Tunisia – Journalists protest as the government delays their demands

A number of Tunisian journalists protested today, Thursday, in the government square, in Tunis, in conjunction with other protests of journalists in several governorates in a day of rage that the Tunisian Journalists Union called for condemning the negligence of the government of Hisham El-Meshishi to their demands in activating the joint agreement for professional journalists that was signed by the former prime minister, which states improving the economic conditions of journalists. The protesters raised slogans calling for the settlement of the fragile situations of journalists in the government sector, and the employment of graduates of the Press Institute who their unemployment exceeded ten years.
