UAE: The Jordanian Football Association to Resume Preparations for Friendly Matches with Syria and Iraq

The Jordanian Football Association wrapped up preparations for a training camp for the national team. Under tightened health protocol, the Nashama camp is being set in Emirate of Dubai, in line with the public safety regulations, preparing for the 2022 World Cup qualification, and for 2023 Asian Cup football finals. Jordan national team has embarked on its physical training under head coach Vital Borkelmans, gearing up for a friendly match with Iraq national team next Thursday in the training camp which will last until the 17th of November. Another friendly match with the Syrian team is due on the 16th of this month. Jordan’s last match was their 5-0 win against Chinese Taipei in the Asian Qualifiers in November 2019. The European Union postponed matches with the outbreak of Coronavirus
