Turkey: Iranian- Turkish Relations Stoke in Light of the Region’s Ongoing Conflicts

Experts clarified that the ongoing conflicts over power and gas fields will affect the Iranian- Turkish relations.  Some took a swipe at those countries that deem Turkey and Iran as two sides of the same coin. Their criticism was justified by explaining that the Turkish intervention in the region aims at protecting its strategic interests and its national security while the Iranian meddling in the Middle East aims at achieving an ideological project, not to mention that Iran poses a constant threat to neighboring countries.
