Tunisia -Prime Minister-designate Hichem Mechichi Presents his Proposed Government Program to Win Vote of Confidence

Tunisia’s Assembly of People’s Representatives, or parliament, held a plenary session for the vote of confidence in the government of Prime Minister-designate Hichem Mechichi. The proposed government will work on reforming the public sector, restoring the investor confidence as well as attracting investments and supporting those with low-income. Qalb Tounes -Heart of Tunisia deputy Fouad Thamer indicated that Hichem Mechichi’s pogram pleased everyone, and their priorities include alleviating poverty, and improving the health sector, transportation, and public enterprise. He also indicated the necessity of pumping funds into all service sectors to revitalize them.
