Lebanon – Coinciding with centenary of Greater Lebanon…. hundreds protest to demand political reform

Martyrs’ Square – Downtown Beirut – Lebanon  01/09/2020

In conjunction with the celebration of Greater Lebanon, hundreds of Lebanese protests in Martyrs Square in downtown Beirut to demand the right of the port martyrs and political reform, the protesters held banners expressing their anger at political officials and the new Prime Minister, Mustafa Adib, who charged the Lebanese President with forming a government, describing the government as a puppet of Hezbollah and the Iranian government par excellence, the protesters demanded the implementation of international decisions related to the withdrawal of Hezbollah and other armed militias.
