Bahrain- Bahrain sends emergency aid to Lebanon

Under royal directives from Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Kingdom of Bahrain on Friday sent the first urgent aid shipment to Lebanon to help the Lebanese in their plight and alleviate the painful injury they are experiencing as a result of the massive explosion in the Lebanese capital Beirut last Tuesday, which has killed and injured hundreds, in addition to massive destruction of property, Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary General of the Royal Foundation for Humanitarian Action, confirmed that this assistance is a first phase assuring that there will be more aid on the way and that they will meet with Lebanese officials to assess the situation and identify their urgent needs.
