Libya – Mass graves continue to be discovered in Tarhuna

Tarhuna city – southeast of the capital Tripoli – Libya 24/06/2020

The General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons, affiliated with the Libyan Government of National Accord, continues to research and recover bodies from the newly discovered mass graves in the city of Tarhuna, southeast of the capital, Tripoli, the commission confirmed that, since receiving the notification of the existence of graves on the ninth of June, 10 bodies were found and recovered, and it was able to discover 4 sites that were “tampered with by irresponsible persons.”
