ISIS destroyed most of the mosques during the period of control over the town of Kobani in northern Syria, which indicates their contradiction of Islam they claim to follow, as mosques are places to practice the rituals of Islam.

Desecration of mosques is a violation of the Islamic religion right as a monotheistic religion, which is something rejected by the people of Kobani, as it Is something that seeks to deform the image of Islam and Muslims.

It is worth to mention that the people of Kobani in northern Syria are working on the reconstruction of destroyed mosques with the help of People’s Protection Units.
