Syria – Initiatives to find Kurdish consensus in Syria’s future

Recent media leaks have emerged about an international attempt by French and American delegations to sit down with Kurdish parties in northern and eastern Syria in order to reach an understanding on the development of a Kurdish project for the future of Syria in the next phase and the role of the Kurds in it, in addition to discussing the political, military and administrative vision in the region under the supervision of the French and American delegations addition, as well as international efforts, there are initiatives by civil, cultural and media bodies and committees in northern and eastern Syria that support this idea because of its positive effects on the region if it succeeds, and its failure will have serious effects on the region, observers say.
