Tunisia – Fear of an increase in the number of coronavirus cases due to citizens’ indifference to preventive measures

Since May 4th, Tunisia has entered the phase of targeted quarantine, which has led to overcrowding and widespread confusion among citizens, with more than three million citizens leaving their homes for work, observers expressed fears that the majority of Tunisians are indifferent to the measures imposed to deal with the Coronavirus epidemic and are not taking the virus seriously, which could lead to an increase in the number of coronavirus’s cases and a return to square one in combating the epidemic.
